I first began working with R. Moore & Sons in early 2023 after an initial Microsoft Teams meeting to discuss their existing HSEQ management systems and potential improvement opportunities. From the outset, it was clear that R. Moore & Sons had a solid foundation and a genuine drive for continual improvement. At the time, they were certified to ISO 9001 (Quality) and ISO 14001 (Environmental) and wanted to understand their alignment with ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety). We agreed the best next step was a gap analysis across all three standards. This first audit marked the beginning of an ongoing partnership.
Since then, I’ve worked closely with Shane and Stuart to refine processes, develop new procedures and strengthen system integration. R. Moore & Sons has since achieved ISO 45001 certification, with ongoing support occurring to ensure their systems remain practical, effective and aligned with best practice.
